The #ThumbHub Chatter of the Month award has been one of the coolest, awesomest, most brodacious awards on DeviantART for quite some time now. I tell you folks, we've got the best awards. But now they're even bester! Don't know what's going on or what I'm talking about? Why, come along for the ride and I, Fella, will tell you all about it! But first, let's shed a little light on the background of this fine accolade.
This award is given once per month to honor a deviant who has gone above and beyond in representing themselves as a role model in the ThumbHub Community. The 15 recipients of the Award thus far have brought something to the chatroom that was not there before their presence, and it's our duty — and honor — to publicly recognize their efforts in doing so.
In the beginning, there was nothing but darkness. But there was also JenFruzz and deviant-garde — and the #ThumbHub chat too actually — so I guess that's more than nothing. The important part, however, is that on the 6th day, in the middle of a break from their tireless quest to bring more gallery spam to the chatrooms, they looked at their chat and decided it was good. Like really good. But they thought to themselves, "hot damn, we could make this even better if we showed off our best users every month while we do it!" And so on the 7th day, they created The Chatter of the Month Award.
I hope and pray that Tim Allen can save Christmas again... but I hope even more that you all enjoy our newly featured Chatter of the Month!

W hen selecting Chatters of the Month in the future, we will be focusing on recognizing deviants who are more than badass chatters in #ThumbHub. After well over a year of feature, we've decided to aim our sights higher — to those who want to make the site better, dare I say, greater.
For too long, the admins have refused to sexily update the chatrooms, leaving us to fend for ourselves when asking for dire necessities such as an /away command, 600 reiterations of the same :stare: 
emoticon, and an appearance that doesn't make you feel like you're using the internet in 2005.
So for April's Chatter of the Month, we bring you a man who's willing to Make DeviantART Great Again:
Pickley
A guy who we consider equal parts talent and hilarity, Pickley has seemingly done it all on this website. He ran one of the biggest rooms around here at one point, dAmnU, he created the first apps to browse the chatrooms and upload to Sta.sh on your phone, and he even worked for DeviantART for a long time, working on the team that made the DeviantART app for iPhone! Others may have chosen to make this April about pears, one of the worst god damn fruits of all time, but if you really want to party, you know exactly what the superior snack is.

Pickles has been a common sight around ThumbHub since our first day. He's usually an amusing presence whether it be in his native form Pickley, his cat form Picklecat, or his toupee alter ego Trumpley. And recently he did an awesome thing!
He made an entire chat network mobile app for iPhone and even included ThumbHub art commands into the app. How cool is that?! We definitely appreciate the gesture and his rather rude sense of humor so I'm happy to see him as our April Fool... I mean April Chatter of the Month.”

I worked with Pickley for years, and let me tell you folks, there's nobody like him, nobody like him at all. He's far better than Crooked trezoid, that's for sure. He's a guy who knows how to solve problems, he's made many apps and they've been very successful. With his help, we're gonna build a chat, with less n00bs than ever before. And it's gonna be a big, beautiful chat.
And it's going to have a big beautiful "Join Chat" button, don't worry, it's just that you have to join legally, 13 and older. Because we've gotta have a chatroom, folks. We don't have a chatroom.
